IN PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS IN BHUTAN

The flight will take you around with the magnificent views the Himalayas like Everest, Kanchenjunga and whole range of the snow peak Himalayas of Bhutan before landing. It is one of the best experiences to fly with Bhutan Airlines/Druk Air in Bhutan. After your arrival in Paro international airport, we will meet you with the welcome scarf offering ceremony and brief you about the day plan depending upon the arrival time. After our short introduction we will start our drive to Thimphu by our private suv. On the way after 20 minutes we will stop at the most historical iron suspension bridge of 15th century, swinging beautifully at Tamchoegang, making the most famous picture break. After walking around and refreshing, we will further start our drive to Chuzom, the confluence of two river from Paro and Thimiphu. After the short picture break we will start driving to the capital city. Depending upon the time and your flexibility we will either check in to our hotel or continue our sightseeing.

Evening we will stroll around the city on foot to explore more and interact with the Bhutanese folks.

Dinner: we will plan with the guest (Hotel or outside)

After our healthy breakfast, we will start our day sightseeing in Thimphu, we will visit the most interesting Buddha statue overlooking the whole Thimphu valley. We will circumambulate around the beautiful memorial chorten, which is built in memory of the third king of Bhutan. We will also stop at ChangangkhaLhakhang, where you can see lot of locals along with their young born babies for the naming ceremony and blessings. We will also visit the unique national animals of Bhutan known as Takin. We will also stop around Nunnery and palace view point. Lunch in the city and after lunch we will visit the painting school where we have 13 different art and craft. We will also stop at National Library to see the biggest book of the world, known as ‘The Visual Odyssey’ we will also visit the Archery stadium to see the national game of Bhutan. In the evening we will visit the most historical TashichoeDzong, the fortress of the glorious religion.

Dinner: In the hotel or optional

Night: we will visit simple Bhutanese nightlife.

In the morning after our breakfast we will drive until Dochula Pass, the most beautiful pass in Bhutan which gives you the panoramic view of the Himalayas with 108 stupas. After our short tea break we will start driving towards Paro. Lunch in paro town. After our lunch, we will visit the National museum of Bhutan. ParoDzong, which has the best view of the 3rd Kings Palace and downtown.It is in this Dzong that the ‘Little Buddha’ film was shot. We will also visit the oldest Kichu temple, which remarks the history of Buddhism in Bhutan.

In the evening stroll around the town, come back and have dinner at the hotel

Today after our early breakfast we will start our drive to the Tiger’s Nest base and start our hiking. Tiger’s Nest Monastery would be the best highlight of the tour in Bhutan. Tiger’s nest temple in Bhutan is one of the revered Buddhist monasteries in the world. Lunch on the way, afternoon we will enjoy the outdoor activitites like Archery and Khuru.

Evening: Hot stone bath

Today after our breakfast, we will bid you farewell at the Paro international airport.
