Your Two Nights Houseboat Cruise starts at the backwaters of Kumarakom, travels through Vembanad Lake and halting at Punnamada on day 1, next day to Nedumudy and Champakkulam and concludes at Alleppey on the third day.
The cruise begins from Kumarakom at noon, at which point you will cruise through Vembanad Lake, passing numerous quaint hamlets en route to a confluence of three rivers where the boat will anchor for the night and you will stay overnight on the boat.
The cruise continues after breakfast to Nedumudy, where the guests may opt to visit the Sree Bhagavathi Temple, otherwise the cruise will continue to Champakulam to visit the ancient St. Mary’s church believed to have been founded by St. Thomas in AD 427, and later you will visit a local market. Later, the cruise continues to a stop at a village where you can view an ancient statue of the Buddha named ‘Karumadikuttan’. The boat will anchor nearby for the night close to sunset, and guests will stay overnight on the boat.
